Media Project Process Post 5

In this week it was brought to my attention that I do not have either an audience research nor proof of my work on my blog posts. From now on I will add pictures of my process and I will do my best to make an audience research on my project. In addition to new scenes, my teacher Betting Downing has added more comments since two weeks ago that I will address now.

Most of the comments posted on my script by my teacher mostly short highlights of several typos and incorrect verb tenses and uses that I have overlooked after being told in the past to check verb tenses. I have, however been praised for realistic dialogue described by Bettina as "effective in sounding like authentic talk." and "works well here to show the interaction between the characters.". In addition, she also wrote "Different attitudes are shown well through your word choice." to describe my different wordings for different characters. She also wrote positively on my stage directions of the characters using emotions written in parentheses and described them as effective, but there are still some that I need to add in certain situations. I hope she will add more as I continue my story.

We previously left off with the addition of the creation of an Apis Taxon monster based on a honey bee. I recently wrote a scenario where the Apis Taxon attacks the hospital that the two main characters were visiting. I recently found out about hospital emergency codes and their usage, and used a "Code Silver" which means an active shooter or weapon in the hospital (Villines, 2019), but in this case it is a monster attack. The monster attacks the two where, via a hologram projected from its watch, a message from the villain that created it addressed to Arnold warns him about his attacks and his revenge. Because of this reveal, both characters know how the Taxons are created and agree to work together to fight this threat.

I will soon finish this script with a few more pages to go when the protagonist will finally become a superhero and defeat the monster.
