Media Project 1 Class Week 5

In yesterday's class, we were learning about an author's voice, which is the way a writer writes. We wrote the same scenario of purchasing coffee in different characters, from writing as we would say it ourselves to different characters of differing emotions and ages. We learned there are different ways to convey emotions using different words for the same scenario. This was to tell us how to write in our own style for our projects. As usual, we had time to develop more on our projects if we could.

We then were paired up and examined each others' opening to their project. I was paired up with someone who, unfortunately, did not have their project with them so it was somewhat one-sided. She praised me on my work on Celtx. My tutor later reviewed the same passage and praised me for my writing, but also commented on the use of tenses, as I mostly used past tense inconsistently, so I changed the tenses accordingly. I also gave my tutor the share link to my script so she can add comments on the document.
